Announcement – Discontinuation of Ting Program

Dear Agents,

I am writing to inform you of an upcoming change to the Ting electrical monitoring program currently available to Loudoun Mutual’s policyholders.

After careful review, we have decided to discontinue our participation in the Ting monitoring program. While the program will no longer be offered through our company going forward, any Ting devices that have already been installed will continue to operate normally.

The existing Ting devices will remain active and fully functional until the third anniversary of its original activation date. During that time, the device will continue to monitor the home’s electrical system and provide alerts through the Ting mobile app just as it does today.

As the device approaches its three-year anniversary, Ting will contact the insured directly via email with options to renew the monitoring service should they wish to continue using the device beyond that date. Any renewal arrangements will be handled directly between the insured and Ting.

We appreciate the many policyholders who participated in the program and took advantage of the added protection it provided. If you have questions about the Ting device or its status, please contact your marketing representative.
